I am not sure if this thread is in the right place (if not then please put it where you see fit(MOD), but I have a customs/shipping question.
How are USA customs? If I am getting a package of say caffeine powder or other nootropic substance, will I ever get it, or will they flag it as some sort of who knows what? Basically, how strict are package customs into the USA? What about plants? Kratom, S. Divinorum? Thanks!

I've never had an issue. I believe it mostly depends on the person or company that sends the package and what they declare it as. When I've received packages they'll usually list it as toys, gift, or hobby supplies. If they list it as plants customs will probably check into it a little more. You may want to e-mail the company first to ask what they list it as on the customs declaration form.

US customs aren't all that strict. I think you'll get your caffeine powder.

I've ordered lots of things that had to pass through US Customs and never really encountered much of a problem.
Once I had a camera grip, for a nikon camera sit for about 6 weeks at customs but other than that never had a problem.
Expanding on this, there are many things that are illegal in Canada that you can buy from the USA via the internet.
For example, some kinds of herbicides (crab grass killer) which is sold in United States can't be sold in Canada. Yet, I can order a 50 lb bag of it on the internet and have it mailed to me here in Canada.
That is just one of many such strange things that I have purchased from across the boarder of Canada and USA which were illegal to buy in one Country yet I could buy it from USA and have it shipped to my home

You're allowed a 3 month supply of drugs that are not specifically prohibited. So lots of people order all kinds of shit all the time with no problem.
Don't sweat it.
