Answer to #1. - Sterility is the main advantage of using a pressure cooker/canner has.

Answer to #2. - I'd use about a 1:15 ratio of bleach to water in a spray bottle. So for every 15 tablespoons of water, put 1 tablespoon of bleach.

Answer to #3. - *shrug*

Answer to #4. - Yes.

2> ive never sprayed air. dont see the need if you heat the needle until its red hot after every inoculation - be sure to let it cool.
