Using a heat plate instead of the stove?
    #1825722 - 08/18/03 10:52 AM (20 years, 6 months ago)

Using a heat plate in the privacy of my room sounds like a sounder idea than using the stove. Would this work just as well? Do heat plates reach appropriate temperature?

I'm sorry for posting so many threads, I always try to think of a few questions before posting a thread, but it never works. After my first grow I'll help others with their questions

If the plate gets hot enough to boil water then it will work.

That's because you're a MORON!! I doubt your parents are home 24 hours a day, just do it when they're gone

And lets say you're unlucky enough to have your parents home all the time, then there's NO WAY that you don't have a single friend whose parents leave for a couple hours

Give up on you're horrible idea, how the hell would you explain the boiling sound in your room, or if you're using a PC, the loud rocker and steam exhaust?

Hm, maybe you're the moron. This has absolutly nothing to do with my parents.

Our house is undergowing a lot of repairs, and we are changing our stove completly. There will be a bunch of construction workers/ repair people working in the kitchen over the next week or so, and I don't want to disturb them or bring about any suspicion.

maybe you could use one of those butane camping stoves...or just PC them at a trusted friends house...
