sing rubber maid instead of jars

can u use the plastic rubbermaid containers instead of the jars poke about 4 holes in it and put tyvek around the holes and microwave with lid cracked then put lid on when done and let cool then inject will this work?

In theory it will work, but the microwave is not the best way of doing it. Add extra water, cook the hell out of it. I think thats your best bet. Keep it well sealed.

It has been done successfully with Glad disposable containers, just make sure that the containers you use are SHALLOW (wider than tall) so the microwaves can more easily penetrate the substrate. You also must be very careful about burning the substrate as the microwaves will tend to dry it out - you will probably have to increase the amount of water A LITTLE and experiment with cooking times.
