Here is the official research update from fungiperfect's recent EPA sponsored SBIR grant: "Comprehensive Assessment of Mycofiltration Biotechnology to Remove Pathogens from Urban Stormwater"!

Looks like they found 14% average E. coli removal with their Stropharia culture, but had a 16% swing in their controls?

Seems like they didn't use sterile technique, then proceed to spend a lot of time whining about false positives from other bacterial contaminants.

Unfortunately this report really doesn't seem to prove much of anything.

I'd love to get some experiments going where I live in SW Florida... might have a huge impact
