I drink only organic milk. the regular store-bought crap is full of growth hormones. After years of not drinking the crap milk, I bought a quart at Safeway for a baking emergency. HOLY SHIT! the stuff tasted like Elmer's glue. Nasty.

consuming anything in large or excessive amounts is never a good idea. quite obvious, friend. The best diets are those that are diverse and well-rounded.

All things being equal, soy milk is still a much better choice than industrial cow milk.

Large and excessive are not always synonyms.

In this case they mean relative to the amount eaten in Asian cultures, which is miniscule.

I'm not sure but I believe I read that an ounce is what they are talking about

Milk & beef are in bed with the US government. Regardless of countless research studies they still say it gives you strong bones which it is not even proven to do! Beef.. ick. I'm not against meat but beef is poison. Watch in the next 20 years, alzheimers and mad cow will be proven to be the same disease. Read mad cowboy, or visit www.rense.com (alternative news website) for links on beef, milk, and much more. The truth is out there in this cloud of misinformation!

I was in a bike accident where i fell over 20 feet straight onto my head (vertical) and many people said it would have killed most people, but i never even cracked a bone, i am convinced that was do to years of drinking 2-4L of milk a day.

I have since cut down to a couple glasses.

"Regardless of countless research studies they still say it gives you strong bones which it is not even proven to do!"

What has been proven:

A diet low in calcium will result in weaker bones and increased chances of osteoperosis later in life.

Milk is a great source of calcium.

"Watch in the next 20 years, alzheimers and mad cow will be proven to be the same disease"

Actually, no, we already know that they are two different diseases, but there is a popular theory that they operate in a similar fashion.

What you have to realize is that often alternative news sources can be just as, or even more biased than the mainstream ones.
