For everyone else it is physically and mentally detrimental.
where in your papers does it say that everyone (excluding over forties) who drink alcohol will experience physical and mental problems?
also, you did not cite one reliable study. you cited news websites and about.com in a previous thread you claimed you have 3 degrees, this throws that claim into doubt because if you had even 1 degree you would know what a reliable source looks like. i want peer review. news websites will skew the argument just to get readers. they are no good.
what you have done is shown that there are risks with alcohol, which isn't a point of debate. there are risks for cancer if you go out in the sun. life is full of risks. what i want to see is you back up your claim that even small amounts of alcohol are always detrimental to anyone (excluding over forties).
most of what you cited was just professional opinions, they are important, but that doesn't make it reliable or valid.
It clearly says that everyone who drinks alcohol will experience increased risk of cancer. Read it again carefully, it is right there in print.
I have 3 degrees. I care not at all if you believe that or not.
I believe the sources I posted are valid.
You should be thanking me for doing this much research on your behalf. I am a paid researcher and to be honest I spent far too much time doing freelance research for people on the shroomery who could easily do it themselves but feel that I should do it for them, and then ineviably disparage my sources .
If you want me to do further research or if you are unhappy with the quality of my work, I am afraid you are going to have to pay me the same rate as the professors who employ me.
Like I said, its up to you what info you choose to accept and what you choose to ignore. I have done you a favour by spending as much time as I have using google on your behalf.
I do not actually care what choices you make, but I think the sources I have posted here are fully legitimate being the opinions of doctors, professors, and scientists.
I have gotten you started, if you want to learn more, you are going to have to take it from here.

so now i am supposed to thank you for giving me dodgy sources are these the kinds of sources you give to your boss? because if they are then i doubt that you are working at a university. at a university to cite a source it must be peer reviewed. if it is not, then it is not reliable. i specifically asked for a reliable source, and you did not give me even one. and now you want me to thank you
seriously though, if your job is to research you should really know what a reliable source is and how to find them. it is actually really easy for anyone who has the internet.
It clearly says that everyone who drinks alcohol will experience increased risk of cancer.
i'm not saying that alcohol won't increase risks for cancer in some people. i want you to back up your claim that everyone who drinks even a small amount of alcohol will experience medical and psychological problems. risk factors do not equal inevitable medical and psychological problems.

I understand the requirements of academic writing extremely well. However the requirements of unpaid shroomery posts are understandably less demanding.
I tried in good faith to give you information that was relevant to the question you were asking, at no benefit to myself and at the expense of my own time. Beyond that, we can agree to disagree.
I have zero obligations to you or entitlements to you, so anything I have done for you is going above and beyond what you had any right to expect. If you found it worthless, at least realize it did not cost you a dime!
God bless, good luck, enjoy your life whatever you choose and whatever you choose to ingest or not ingest.

none of us are on here to get paid dude. your acting like you somehow did me a favour and that somehow getting paid has relavance to the argument. you say you have no obligations to me, and you don't. you say you have good faith, but what is that even supposed to mean in this context? why even bring that up? i think you brought it up because your a little sour because i called you out on an issue that you couldn't respond to with reliable evidence. hear-say, even from a proffessional, is still just hear-say. but, its cool man, good luck to you too sir

I did do you a favor, by investing my time to answer a question for you. An unappreciated favor, but a favor nonetheless.

your not doing anyone a favor by posting on the shroomery people come because they enjoy the chat, not so that you can do them favors. its kinda funny that your acting like i owe you something for posting on a drug forum but, don't feel hurt dude. if you want me to show you how to find a reliable source, so that you don't find yourself in this situation again, i would be more than happy to oblige.

You have to think highly of yourself. Low self-esteem is the bigger life-denier.
You have to cleanse your senses and stay fairly awake in order to see how amazing life is.
Life is not that complex but perceived properly it is amazing. It may not last forever, but it's amazing nonetheless.
The glory of life is such that just being part of it all was enough and you can't die bitter of your mortality.
God exists. Everything will work out.
This is my basic understanding.
