I am watching a program on the history channel about it.

For those who don't know, it's a electronic eavesdropping network between USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and who knows who else.

Man, imagine working for the NSA (No Such Agency) and getting to hear what they hear... :devil:

well this Echelon thing is horrible and a simple net search will show that!

also maybe try searching the bilderbergs!

the nsa has to go to interpol to get american spy data.

thats how the whole system works.  Both the US and the EU have laws against spying on their own citizens.  But, of course, thers no law against spying on other nations.  So the Us spys on the EU, and the EU spies on the US, and then they trade data under the table :wink:

Isn't government wonderful?

<edit> Echelon has been around since the early 90's and it really blows :frown:

I believe it's origins are from world war 2 when it was used to crack the japanese and german code systems...
