I'm sure we've all done that to some extent. I'm always taking things out of context on forums.

Extremely! I used to grow them in my spare closet They grew quite happily under my 180W LED lamp I got cheap at a police auction.
The only problem I had was getting fruit. They would flower all the time, but every method I tried to fertilize them would fail. I finally resorted to putting them on my patio for a few weeks.... and they were all killed. I dont know if it was a neighbor or the monster freaking locusts we get here in Tucson, but something broke the main stems on all of my plants. Havent had the heart to buy more seeds to try again yet.

Q-tip, fine paint brush (wet and dry), whole-flower-on-a-toothpick, squeeze bottle, I tried every method I could find descriptions of.
I know the damn things were putting out pollen. Nuclear strength pollen. My eyes were on fire and couldnt breathe worth a damn for the allergies. In the end I decided that it was gonna be natural pollination or naught at all. Although I also have heard that the extremely hot C. chinense are a bit reticent to fruiting to begin with, so I may have had the odds stacked against me to begin with.
