Actually, fewer senior officials have resigned than have in the last few administrations, for the same time-frame. I got that from NPR, so no I don't have any hard numbers for you. Alas.

I think the evidence makes it very clear that the Bush administration knew that the 9/11 attacks were likely to happen. What's unclear is how much they knew, and what they did in response. We may never know, since Bush has classified that information.

Hey I heard a good conspiracy the other day... I was talking to some people think that 19 arab terrorists from the Al-qaeda terrorist network hijacked those 4 passenger jets on Spetember 11, 2001! LOL Can you believe that? These people think that this terrorist group coordinated and carried out the whole attack...... all masterminded by Osama bin Laden! LOL!! Of course when I asked them why the terrorists had special exceptions for keeping their names off the airline passenger lists they didn't have a clue! Guess they snuck on board through the floor panels! LOL!! These tinfoil-hat nutjobs then had the balls to tell me they knew it was Osama bin Laden's terrorist group within HOURS of the attacks! LOL!! Have these conspiracy wackos ever heard of the words "thorough investigation"? Oh man... and here's the killer, you better be sitting down when you hear this... when I asked these weirdos WHY they think Al-qaeda carried out the attacks, and they said....
