Is it possible for a poor man like myself, to do all the critical operations like inoculating, making spore syringes, agar transfers...with an oven and still being safe and contamination free ?

It depends on who you ask. A lot of people think the oven tek is bogus.

Yeah, it's pretty hit and miss, some people have had great results with an oven, some people have had terrible contam problems. A glovebox is so cheap and easy to make, I'd go with that.

The problem with ovens is that it's quite difficult to create a sterile environment inside one, and to keep that environment sterile.
I myself have never used an oven, but a simple cooking pot on a gas stove to sterilize jars and syringes and a cigarette lighter to sterilize hypodermic needles. With a little bit of care, you can work pretty much contam free with these simple things.

Well yeah but for agar transfers and g2g transfers and syringe making a sterile environment is important... ovens are used because in theory the rising warm air takes contaminants with it and prevents them settling on the work area.
