ive always wanted one, because i do alot of work in making gardens and such. wether it be at friends houses, or community organizations, im very active in the gardening community. i got this thing pretty much brand new for 400 bux at a yard sale. mint condition.
the guy said he used it 10 times. i cut a path about 10 feet long yesterday in my yard to test it out. thing is a beast. cuts through the earth like butter. anywho, im planning on finding some work with it as well as doing alot of charity work for friends, and encouraging friends and neighbors to start gardens and grow their own food. anywho, im wondering, if anyone in the landscaping field might be able to shoot me a ball park figure to charge for my services. id rather charge by measurement than by hour, as i could get alot more money done by measurement than i would get paid for in an hour.

Big Gulps! Alright! Well, See ya later! And if i claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that i dont know!

Eh...if you're just tilling residential sized gardens, maybe $20-25 per, but I feel like that would still be a hard sell. A lot of people in the suburbs that would need one have their own, so the market isn't very big, but tilling anything larger than a residential garden with that would be ridiculous. We have a 30x30' garden and it only takes me 45 minutes to till it with a smaller tiller that I got for $175. I wouldn't pay anyone more than $20 to do that.

There is a market for that, they are usually middle to older aged incapable people that want to be trendy. They usually have money but don't want to get their hands dirty and do weird things that maybe only your parents can understand.
The only problem I see is sometimes those gardens are to small for a rear-tine.
Personally I would check out the price to rent one, then add on hourly rate that
Call someone advertising and ask them how much they charge to till a 20x50 foot area.
You could also buy and upsell soil amendments.
