Yeah. The pressure it takes to blow a PC. Quite high.
Fill it with ball bearings, nails, metal scrap, gunpowder.
It's not a pretty thing. They were used in.. the Oklahoma bombing?
This last year has been so bad for america.
I pity the next generation. The world keeps getting.worse.

LOL - pressure cookers weren't used in the OKC bombing! A rider truck filled with ANFO (ammonium nitrate and fuel oil); detonated with a PETN detonator cord, a few sticks of stolen TNT and a few propane cylinders.
I'm born and raised in Boston, and Friday was fucking crazy - the entire city was empty, I've never seen it like that; no cars, no people, public transportation shut down....
The police were pulling people over and forcing them to go home.
I bought a PC about 2 months ago via Craiglslist in South Boston. I was thinking "shit - the guy is probably going to turn over my cell number and email to law enforcement." Then I remembered he told me "I only used this pressure cooker to grown shrooms" - so I figured I was safe

Don't let the terrorists win. They are winning. You're scared of buying a pressure cooker because the government might look into you. If that's not a terrorist win, I'm not sure what is.
It's like being afraid to buy underwear or alarm clocks because those are other commonly used things that terrorists have used to conceal or make bombs with.
Buy ALL the pressure cookers, fuck being afraid of anything.

No, that's called being smart. If you were buying a PC just to cook or can then yeah not buying for that reason is letting the terrorists win. But holding off on buying 3 for illegal activities that you'd rather not have the authorities looking into when you have to assume they are looking more closely at it is just plain good sense to me. Why give anyone a reason to knock at your door to see what you're up to when partaking in an illegal hobby?

Three might be enough to garner attention... Though I don't know the size your shooting for, like the others said if one of the larger AA pressure cookers would meet your needs and be even close to the same price I would just buy that.
Quite honestly I can't see too many terrorist cells thinking. " hmmm.. that one does cost quite as much, but its quality and made in America. Only the best for my bomb..."
I don't know exactly what the authorities are looking for, but I personally wouldn't be looking into people purchasing small quantities, and more so expensive PC.
I just purchased a 921 last week and am not the slightest amount worried.

That's like worrying about buying pipes to fix your sink because they also had pipe bombs. You should put off on buying tons of gunpowder though.

Why would you need more than one pressure cooker for mycology?

It's okay =] Hobbies take time and sometimes you don't have everything you'd want, but if you truly enjoy mycology and you progress, you may find yourself needing better/more equipment!

You just don't seem to get it.
If a pipe bomb went off in your town and killed a cop... Then you go to the hardware store asking for short pipes threaded on both ends and end caps... WTF do you think would happen to you?
This is actually a worse situation because IT'S NOT CANNING SEASON, and NOBODY buys 3 PCs. I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't look like a farm mom gearing up to feed her family either. It's also not farm country there.
Put that together and they'll KNOW it's not for legitimate use. Almost guaranteed they'll call the cops before he gets out of the parking lot. Likely they'll take down his plates, description, and turn over the store video.

Canning season? How about making some f*ing soup season. I bet if you ordered 20 pressure cookers no one would say a thing. There are people that own restaurants and resell things or sell their homemade stew. Or buy things for their kids' school tricky tray. This is hysterical.
Why wouldn't you just say you are using them to sterilize jars for growing mushrooms? Do you think they would assume you were growing illegal mushrooms because I assure you most cops are under age 30 and 'illegal' mushrooms are not something their generation knows much about.
Or you might be like me and everyone I know and growing the other hundred+ varieties of legal edibles.
I order ammo thousands of rounds at a time because I am a target shooter, I would laugh if law enforcement questioned me- right after I politely told them to f*ck off. I follow the law and here in America we are innocent till proven guilty. Congress will probably introduce legislation banning high capacity pressure cookers and assault cookware next.

You are living in a fantasy world then. People call shit in all the time. The cops have nothing better to do than spend your tax money snooping around and harassing citizens of all types.
We have the lowest crime rate in recorded history and the highest number of cops and police funding. What exactly do you think they're doing will all that spare time and those piles of cash?
