Hydroton rock and casings..
    #1813885 - 08/14/03 04:25 PM (14 years, 10 months ago)

AFOAF wants to know if anybody has any ideas for lowering humidity using a hydroton rock/geo-lite terrarium. I think he was gonna fruit some casings and needs to bring the humidity down a bit to 90%.

Maybe make some more holes for the air to get out? Or take out some of the material and water?

I'd like to know how your rh is so high, because a friend of mine is using that pod and can't seem to get his rh over 83%.

Is the terrarium sealed? Because that could be what's keeping the rh so high.

His terrarium is sealed, with 1 hole on the top little bit bigger than a quarter, then he has tyvek covering the hole. And his hydrometer maxes out at 95% then reads error..and its display'n error now, he knows its not just the hydrometer he takes it out to reset it and sticks it back in again, the terrarium is def. over 95%
