Is chromebook going to be able to manage my website?
    #18126696 - 04/17/13 09:40 PM (10 years, 9 months ago)

I'm starting a website and I want a  cheep laptop for it.
It's nothing crazy just a site to sell my product.
Will this $200 laptop do the trick?

I don't see any reason why not.

I'm just wondering because they say it's not like most laptops.
They say it barely has a hard drive.

Do you know code? Can the laptop connect to the internet? Do you have internet? Can you store files in the cloud?

Then yes!

You CAN, but there's no IDEs available for Chromebook AFAIK, which might not be ideal.  Depending on what frameworks you're trying to use it might just not work as well.

AFAIK = as far as I know.

If you don't know what an IDE you are not ready to make a website IMO.

What are you asking then?  All you've said is "for my website".  Nobody can help you if you don't give any details of your requirements.
