Hello, I'm a new user, and also a new hunter of shrooms.
I live in the east coast island province of Newfoundland.
Basically, most people I've talked to here say they hunt for Liberty Caps, and all internet searches have lead me to beleive that this type of shroom is basically the only hallucinogenic mushroom on the province!
Now, I am sure someone here can help me this one. I am looking for good news, because Liberty Caps are gonna take 1-2 months to be in full swing, and I doubt they are even out yet. Or are liberty caps out yet? I am just a newbie... heheh.
(P.S. So far, I have found a lot of shrooms on my property, including an Aminata (spelling?), various shrooms that were rotting (with large rusty dark caps), a bright yellow little shroom, a bunch of copper tops about as big as the O you can make with your thumb and pointing finger..., with pure white under gills, and a white stem. etc)
Newfoundland is just north of Sydney Forkes nofa Scotia, a place I lied and worked on a farm for a year before moving back to America inthe early 1963-4 circa of my life.
It is far from Polar bear country but liberty caps are common inthe fall rains until the frost, which comes real fast in that part of the country. Heard any good Newfie jokes lately. I use to have to books of Newfounlander jokes byu a newfie. Have a shroomy day,
