How should I fruit these? King oysters [Eryngii] in 1/2 pint jars

Hello All,
I am seeking advice on how to fruit these 1/2 pint jars of king oyster mycelium.

The substrate is a spin on pftek, with sawdust and wood chips in place of the vermiculite, as well as gypsum. This is just for fun and I want to begin tweaking recipes for use with such a small jar. I used a myceliated water syringe from mycopath. I'm thinking of going the following routes after dunking the cakes:
- Place cakes back in jars, case each jar with a 50/50 casing of limestone powder and peat; place near a window and spray frequently
- Place cakes in a shotgun terrarium
- Place cakes back in jar and place near a window, spray frequently.
- Forget this silliness and spawn to larger bottles of supplemented sawdust.
I recently tested a casing a la RogerRabbit's Let's Grow Mushrooms DVD, and attempted to fruit after 20% colonization. Four days out, no pins.
Any Advice?
Note: I've read a lot of the threads on how to fruit King Oysters; however, I would love to see folks weigh in on this particular task. Thanks!

Shotgun terrarium.
Make some grain spawn for going to bulk, it's simple enough, especially if you have some Liquid Culture left.

Kings should do well in a SGFC. Don't sweat the window they don't need much light. Fruit them as is and then make quarts of grain spawn for a bulk run.

Asian growers are very successful with bottle culture, which you are kind of replicating here.
I would case them very lightly (peat/verm is what's recommended). I would keep them in an SGFC or better, in a Martha, if you have one.
Remember: they like it chilly.
Fruits won't be as prolific by far. But for fun, it's a good project. And I am generally in favor of fun.

I would put them in a tote, and case with 50/50.
I grow all my kings in jars, but they're quarts. I get around a 1/4lb /jar.

Holy Moly! That is an enormous fruit.
My motivation is to figure out a cool kit as a gift for folks during the next holiday season, but I am not keen on handing friends what to them may just look like an amorphous bag full of white stuff. A quart jar should be an ok size, i think. I wanted to try casing because I wondered if that would allow someone to fruit it without needing a grow room or terrarium.
Versicolor, how do you fruit your kings? Also, do you use a standard sawdust/woodchips substrate? I have a couple of syringes left and I'm thinking of just making a ton of grainspawn and experimenting with widemouth quart jars.

Very classy pic, QOK. Are you on instagram btw?
I'm in the proces of planning a martha that won't cramp my live-in gf's style; we're in an NYC apt. She is very supportive, but definitely not a mycophile.

I just use a mix of hardwood sawdust, wheat bran, gypsum, and coffee. It is necessary to scrape the jars, and keep the fruiting room cool. Also, remove most of the pins, leaving only the largest 2 or 3 to mature. The jars usually produce 2 mushrooms, but this one didn't.

Just wanted to offer an update. Before posting this, I dunked a cake, returned it to the jar and cased with a peat/verm mix. It just started pinning this morning. Here are some pics:

These guys are pretty tiny, so I'm just hoping to get fruits that are at least a few inches in length

Those are looking good man. How long had it been since full colonization when you dunked and cased? Also What is the temp in there?

Well, here's the proud lil fruit that resulted from the 1/2 pint jar in question. Many pins matured into tiny mushrooms and eventually I decided to allow one to grow and got this fruit. I am hoping to improve on this with my other jars. After this I'll be moving on to bigger jars inoculated with grain spawn and experimenting with casings in an attempt to forego the use of a fruiting chamber in favor of frequent misting.
