Shrooms need light to initiate growth into a cap. It lets em know its time to pop out of the ground. Indirect light is prefered as you won't have to worry about heating problems.

any light as long as you can see the shrooms it will work. They only need light to initiate pinning and so the fruits know which direction to grow...
