David Price, who has always been so dominant during the regular season, always seem to perform poorly in the postseason. What's up with that?
Career regular season ERA 3.09
Career postseason ERA 4.50
And he's given up 5 so far today.

They just updated his postseason ERA on the game.
5 ERA with an 0-5 record.

My Cubbies looked amazing last night.. I do feel bad for Pittsburgh. They're a good team and their fans could use a pennant.
Fucking Arrieta looked unreal!
I always said if they get to the series, I'd take the train down and go party on Waveland Ave with everyone.. Maybe get a HR ball doubtful tho.
So, yeah, I'll be heading down there if so.
Maybe even for an NLCS game if they make it. I'd like to go when they have 3 games won so I could be there for the pennant winner. . God.. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I really hope they can shut down St Louis. Not sure if I could handle another year like 03 when we were SOOOO close.

That poor man, though.. Bartman, a lifelong Cubs fan, having that happen to him
One of the games I went to the year after, I had the wall seat right behind the Bartman seat and I was thinking how easily that could've been me that night

If Gonzo had just not booted that perfect DP ball, that would've been the end of the 8th and likely would've had the Cubs vs NY in the series..
I blame Gonzo (Alex Gonzalez) for that loss, not Steve Bartman

If the Astros hold this lead, that would make the road teams 4-0 so far in these playoffs, I believe.

Yes, but not necessarily. Other than Jon Leicster, none of these guys are old enough to know that the Cubs are supposed to suck. I'm not saying the Cubs will win 3 series and win it all, but I wouldn't be overconfident if I was the Cards either. If they split in St. Louis they come back to face Arrietta, who has been unhittable for months.

The Cubs have much more riding on it than any other team.

This Cubs team is something special.. Bunch of kids who weren't even supposed to make the postseason this year and they almost won 100 games... Just amazing... I'm so excited for tomorrow.
And Joe Maddon is

You could say the same thing about the Astros. In fact probably more so. They didn't almost win 100 games, but the Astros, prior to last season, were perennially the worst team in the majors.
Now they're in the playoffs as one of the youngest teams in baseball, and they went into New York and won a one & done, and followed that up by beating the AL defending champs in their house for the series opener.
