Where did you get the crystal ball that gives you the ability to predict the future? I assume you also knew Kershaw was going to get rocked, right?. Shit man, a genius like you should be making bank in Vegas and never have to workQuote:
One things for sure, Bruce Bochy is a better coach, and Yost will be outmanaged. I'm kind of assuming madbum closes it out tonight, that dude is straight money. Hard to think he's 25.
Why is that hard to think? Kershaw is 26 and will probably win his third Cy this year. Compared to him Bum is a late bloomer.
Believe me this is nothing against Bumgarner. It is against you. You have no idea what goes on in the mound conversations. Yost has a hundred times more information than you do. There are some instances where the manager clearly makes a boneheaded move but removing a pitcher early is rarely one of them.

Yup, watch my crystal balls at work. Look at em.
No shit Ned Yost has "hundreds" times more information than me. I'm not sure what point you're even trying to make. That I shouldn't think Bumgarner is impressive for his age because of Kershaw? Look who's pitching tonight at a younger age and in a bigger game.
Managers pull their pitchers too early all time time. You know, as a fan, it's fine to look in hindsight. Actually it helps you learn. That's possibly why you appear completely unaware of managerial mishaps
It's not like MLB managers have to make a lot of in-game decisions. It's pretty easy to notice the fuck ups. Compare to an NFL coach. Hence the very low salaries, often below 1m a year

Matt Williams caught a good amount of flack for pulling Zimmerman when he was 1 out away from shutting out the Giants, that definitely backfired.

Second guessing is bullshit. Baseball is all probabilities and damn thin ones at that. A hit 2 out of 10 times you suck. 3 out of ten you're a star. That is a one in ten chance that the decision who to send up to bat matters.
With Yost's bullpen I don't think you can remove a starter too soon unless, as I said earlier, he has a low pitch count and is cruising.

I can agree with that. I just think Ned Yosts' little flowchart of his robot managing and persistent bunting fails him when shit hits the fan. See wildcard game vs A's when he pulled his ace Shields with 88 pitches for a rookie STARTER with 2 men on. All of the sudden its 7-3 A's. We all know he would have caught flack if his offense didn't bail him out. Pedro Martinez still ripped him apart even after they won, lol.
To his credit, it's working. But his team has played almost flawless baseball in the post season. Don't forget, the Brewers players totally bailed on this guy when they were still in contention. He was fired before the season even ended. I'm just predicting his mismanaging will cost his team in the world series.

Dude, last night was awesome. First of all, what a game, and what a way to clinch a pennant. And 3 pennants in 5 years? Just wow. It's still every bit as enjoyable as the first 2.
And good for Ishikawa. Not long ago he thought he might be done in the majors, now he hits one of the biggest homers of his life. And Tim Hudson man, the whole team kept saying how happy they are that he's finally going to the Series, well deserved.
Apparently Joe Panik was prepared for the Wainwright cutter last night. He was watching tape of Bill Mueller hit home runs off Mariano Rivera before the game, and whatever notes he took from that worked cuz he knocked a 2 run homer (his first postseason home run).
So here we go, Wild Card World Series. Two clubs with a lot of heart battling it out. This is gonna be epic.

If the Royals sweep that would be untouchable history. I am still bragging about the 2005 White Sox only losing once in the postseason.
And the Royals won their last 2 games in 85 so that is still part of the streak.
I think the Giants will win, but this KC team has shown anything is possible.

I believe the Royals will win because they want it more. Both teams have good players, but I think it will come down to who wants it worse.

That's ridiculous to suggest that either team wants it more than the other. You think because SF has recent titles they're going to throw in the towel?... Not to say the Royals can't win, but the Giants are battle tested and im envious as fuck of their entire organization
