boo white sox! yeah braves! we're only 3 games under 500 right now but it's because of our starting pitching mainly. Bartolo Colon has been horrific and Jaime Garcia's last start sucked as well. RA Dickey has been coming around as of late as well as Folty and Teheran. As another person has said about this braves team "I believe this team has a run at a playoff spot"i agree. Our offense is ELECTRIC but our starting pitching needs tweaking for sure. Will be in attendance at the 7/5 game in Atlanta vs Houston. Will be fun!!!!!!!!

Nothing like a red sox victory in Toronto on Canada day, 7-1

yeah he still plays but I think he's closer to 130 Another victory last night for the bravos. 2 games under 500 now and we're 7.5 games behind the Nats. Just read that Bartolo Colon's been designated for assignment currently making Ichiro Suzuki the current oldest player in MLB followed by RA Dickey at #2 another brave

Wow! That's pretty interesting. I didn't realize Ichiro still played either.

It's looking good tonight for the red sox.
I'm really liking the production from the end of the lineup.
Bottom of the ninth, and our last 3 batters in the lineup each have three hits today. Benintendi bats 6th, and he has 5 hits today! Excited to see what the boys do to end this season.

SunTrust Park was pretty cool last night. It was my 1st time going. Braves lost 10-4 but there were some exciting moments in the game. Ender Inciarte hit a home run, Jaime Garcia knocked in 2 RBI's and Freddy Freeman got a couple base hits. Concourses at the park were kind of narrow imo and the field and seats were nice and all BUT SO WAS TURNER FIELD.

Really cool that you got to see your team at their new field, even if it was a loss. On my end Chris Sale has given up 4 against tampa bay! No me gusta.
Even the best pitchers make mistakes though, and he does have 11 strikeouts through 6 innings so far.

Sox are slumping.
We can turn it around though. The Devers kid who was called up has been great, and the nunez trade seems like a win so far.

Being a Braves fan this year reminds me of back in the 80's and all the Atlanta sports teams sucked. There were even bumper stickers that said, "Go Braves! and take the Falcons with you!"

Yes it's amazing how many of their hitters have struggled. If they were in another division they would be out of contention, but anything could happen.

I've had fun recently watching highlights and reading details about the unassisted triple play in MLB. It's happened 15 times. It often happens in this fashion - an infielder catches a line drive (one out), steps on a base to double off a runner (two outs), and then tags another runner on the runner's way to the next base (three outs).
The 1st player in MLB history to perform an unassisted triple-play was Neal Ball of the Cleveland Naps on July 19, 1909. The most recent MLB unassisted triple play happened August 23, 2009, by second baseman Eric Bruntlett of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a game vs the New York Mets. There have been large gaps of a decade or two when nobody got an UTP.
Best Triple Plays in MLB History!!

This postseason is actually going to be interesting.
Looking forward to Phillies vs. Braves
Whoever wins the NL, wins the World Series. If I were a betting man, and that I am, I would put money on the Braves. Top notch pitching and a disgusting batting lineup from top to bottom.
Dodgers are really the only team I could see being able to matchup with Atlanta
