Not yet, I've been slow.
I just checked the plates yesterday, and they're kind of interesting, with some curious areas - I'm going to pull some more sections for more plates (this is an iso project). Will post pics. Also did some more inoc from the print and got a couple plates with cleaner germination which I'll be transfering from. Wispy myc.

All good, just was curious . I'll be really interested to see what an iso of that print produces
I'll probably be hunting the wild specimens within a month again.

Here's a couple better shots of the plates. The original plate had some minor lemon gumdrop looking contams.
These two are 1 transfer away from spore germination.
These two were pulled from the first plate shown above.

I'm glad to see some more PM myc action! My mono is on its 4th flush now. The fruits are now long and skinny. So far they are all very potent. I have enjoyed a few great nights by the fire with these beauty's!

Inspired by GrainBrain's myc I did some more work with the purple-cap cultures along with a mess of other cult today. Like I said I'm slow.
But I've got the first myc into 4 rye quarts, did some isolation from the 2nd germination, and inoculated 5 fresh plates from the print today.
Claybuddy, good to hear about the potency.

PS Gawd that cat is freaky...

Wow, just a few days later at about 66F, and good growth in the rye jars. I'm getting excited for these!

Put the other plates in the fridge - gonna knock up some more rye jars for these babies.

I always cut the wedges up into miniwedges so they can roam around more while shaking. They just ended up together.

Ahh. That makes sense.
Haha. It is a pretty crazy cat. I need to look at it sometime whilst tripping. I usually stay off the computer when doing so though.

Cool stuff PS that culture looks really healthy/active . I'm super excited to see what that print turns out to! My latest record wild purple mystic dried out was 7.9 g .
I'll be keeping an eye on this .

Progress, such as it is.
First the 4 jars are running nicely with no problems:

Second, the xfer I did from an older germination plate (but not the original back in Feb) of 4-12 look quite consistent, like this one:

Third, a germination plate I inoculated 6-15 is really taking off. This is the one I'm gonna work from soon:

God, I don't see why not. Though I get contams on maybe 3 out of 4 plates (the ones I'm not showing ) the germination rate is really good and who knows what genetics somebody may be able to uncover.
Besides, imagine the purple cap majesty in those thousands of monos around 2015...
