Awesome! It would be pretty wild if you happened to get the small fruits as well.

Wait, I'm not saying I don't want small fruits - especially if they rip face and all.

Here's some pics from the second flush. I'm about halfway through harvesting. It's a pain in the ol backside to harvest such tiny little fruits. I'm trying to print a few, but I have noticed and spores on the stems at all. It would be crazy if these were sterile.

They're sure cute, though!

I would just scissor them all out of there...  But I use these minitubs so that at harvest I can float the sub up to the level of the tub lid and then get in there easily with kitchen shears...like so:

How convenient! That's pretty excellent actually.
I'm using a small pair of garden scissors. It's just the first corner that's always toughest.

I absolutely love the way they look! Not like your typical cube for sure imo. I personally love harvesting so maybe small ones wouldn't bother some people lol. Good job man. Can't wait to see what PS's dish comes out with...should start taking bets on whether they come out small or not :P

Dry weight of second flush was 6 g short of 4 oz. Not bad, not bad at all.
The craziest part is I tried printing these and they are completely sterile! Crazy stuff.

Completely sterile??? That's crazy...so much for the famous FL spore load :P lol. The rip your face off feature and cool small look w/mass bulk are great features!

I guess that means you'll have to clone your favorite haha.

I have a couple more prints on me, though obviously I expect to have more.

Primal I hope your work goes well on your end. I am really looking forward to seeing how those go.

:woah:

Well, today I'm gonna be inoculating 7 rye quarts with myc, and then I'll probably just case that out in trays and try fruiting from it.

One step at a time, with pics of course.

I'm just curious as to why you would wanna case your grain instead of spawning to bulk? Casing grain will result in less impressive results as shown many times.. Stick with bulk

Well hey...I'm gonna case some of the grain because I have no idea how these mamas are gonna turn out, and I'm getting really curious to see them fruit under controlled conditions.

Cased grain produces very well IME - the PEUs in my sig were two quarts cased in a bread pan.

I'll be storing a bunch of sectoring plates in the fridge for later bulk experiments, don'cha worry.  :thisisgonnabegood:

I have a feeling I'll need more prints soon Lol. The way these are turning out is exceeding my expectations with some surprises thrown in haha. PS's is going to be the 2nd whammy punch in the PM's myco world. Should start a poll and vote whether they'll be small, big, or something else entirely haha.
