My roommate asked my permission to tell my girlfriend we'd made out as an april fool's prank. She did not actually pull said prank. What does that mean?

Hey here is a story for you guys, it's kinda related..
This happened 9 years ago but it still hurts today..
When I was growing up I fell for a really cute blonde girl,
But I was a fuck up.. She liked me and we went out for a few months but we were too young to really do anything..
So we split and for 4 years after I was still crazy about her..
We went to different high schools so didn't really talk as we grew up.
One day me and a close friend of mine were walking through the town and spotted her with an even sexier friend of hers..
We ended up getting invited back to the new girls house for a few drinks,
Her parents were away..
They were both very keen, Like more than any other girls I'v known..
Well so after a bottle of wine my friend decides he wants to leave..
Fuck him..
Well it could have been my first 3 way if he left (with two of the hottest girls from around here.. I'm not really much to look at either tbh..)
Well he kinda forced me to go with him.. The girls kinda got upset when he said he was leaving too so it was kinda like it was already not gonna happen..
I found out 2 years later he was gay..
FML
The moral of the story is: FUCKING DO IT OP!!! FOR ALL OF MAN KIND!!!

How Is your girlfriend going to trust you if you pull April fools prank like this? Even after she finds out it was just a joke, that seed of doubt will be planted, and she will become suspicious that you might like your room rate for real. And then the cheating.

A guy being a room mate with a female is NEVER a good idea. Every single time, the guy at some point attempts to have sex with the girl. Unless he is a gay, otherwise that awkward day ALWAYS comes. If the girl thinks he just sees her as a friend and won't try anything, then she is fooling herself and being naive.
