quick pontency question

a friend of mine just began growing outdoors and the yeilds are spectacular, although, he hasn't eaten any yet. are the HUGE mushrooms from outside as potent, by weight, as the little ones from inside of his terrarium? or is the psylocybin potency diluted?

From what I heard, the potency of a mushroom constantly increases up to the point right before the viel break, after that is slowly degrades but so slightly that it's not noticeable

The only disadvantage of huge mushrooms would be it uses lots of nutrients from the subtrate which possibly could have provided for a better total weight in mushrooms(not sure though)

Hey Howardo,how is your friend growing outside?Im interested because Im wanting to try this and am needing a little help on how to set it up and what species are best and things in that nature,how is he coming along afterall?O and what is he using as a substrate???Thanks again!

Outdoor mushrooms seem to be more potent then indoor ones, I think this is because potency is directly related to genetics, growing conditions and substrate.

Outdoor shrooms pack a punch. I would say that small, immature shrooms are more potent than big matured specimens by weight.

I read that indoor mushrooms are more potent then wild ones becuase they have a almost perfect invronmet to grow in.But what do I know I never tried to grow them outdoors because i'm from canada and it gets too cold here for P.Cub

well in my experience, 20 grams(fresh) of outdoor mushrooms of the same strain and mycilium from an indoor project made me trip out harder then the indoors.
