i bet it would have grown. point is that the temperature is a big factor and ive seen people constantly take 6-8weeks to colonize jars just sitting on their shelf in their room. if you PC properly EVERYTHING is killed and using (what i used to use) micron-magick filter disks MMFD they were called, along with 4-punched lids its almost impossible to contaminate after injecting spores. the mycellium will not die that is how some strains stay alive under winter freezing and tundra. how many know that there is a mycellia complex under teh ground RIGHT NOW that is by FAR the largest living creature on the planet?? yes bigger than a blue whale. it stays alive and thrives when it can, if you have too cold temperatures the hyphae will just cling together and comfort each other by keeping warm and not being able to spread out but it will stay alive until food or water supplies are gone, or temperature gets very very extreme. like from a heating pad.
