... thanks! quick reply! probably stay away from these then...
And in my experience a good indicator species.
Important to note, I have found these within about a meter of subs on numerous occassions, so be careful.
Cheers, Ob.

Went for a walk today, thought some would sprout after this drop in Temp after Easter and some really wet days. 10 mins Out of Hobart, 40 mins walking found 10 fairly small, in two groups. About 10 pins i saw and left in the ground. I picked one pin that had an unusually bright yellow cap.
THE SEASON HAS STARTED.

nice man, are those yellow ones Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, or another tasmanian species?
I remember them from last year's thread, but i can't remember.

Nice finds obtuse and sbw1990!
I went for a quick look this morning in one of my usual places... Still a bit too dry for subs. There were a few inactives, but not many. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will start finding some subs, just need a bit more rain I think, the area is still a little bit dry.

i wouldve left them there if it was an isolated area, but it was beside a bus stop so, someone would've gotten them sooner rather than later.

had my first trip for 2013! 2.1 G dried of P Sub. It was amazing, highlight was going to the beach and looking at the bio-luminescence algae in the water, it blew my mind.
Happy hunting!

btw, did anyone catch this on ABC RN a couple of weeks ago: Mind at Large - Encounter great listen...
I suppose it depends on how well the mycelium is doing, you could always feed your personal patch.
I did catch some of that radio show and for those who are interested it's worth listening to the podcast in your link. The comments at the end from people who appeared on the show also go deeper than the usual "lol drugz" bs. Interesting topic for Radio National, it's food for thought.

I was only able to find one place that sold food dehydrators - and they were about $200. I just ended up buying one off eBay instead, was only $50 and does the job fine.
