Yeah dude you can buy them in any hospitality supply store or good kitchen ware stores. Look up "whipped cream dispenser". Yes it's legal.

personally i dont recommend those aluminum crackers, they freeze the fuck out of your hands and it hurts, def go with the whip cream dispenser

I think that the use of the word "canister" was causing TheGreenArrow to think you meant a n2o tank instead of a dispenser.

Yes I was under the impression that in some land people are free to buy they're own tank of haha juice :smile:.  A place where balloons are filled to the brim, and peaks are lengthened, people rolling and laughing at they're own silly existence.  But ya I need a tank of this.

It depends a lot on the ambient temperature of the room/place you're doing it in. If it's the middle of summer I find the crackers are totally fine, but when in winter when it gets to be below freezing the crackers are just too cold to handle. Ideally you want a dispenser but damn are they expensive!

But if you think about the waste from broken balloons, leaky crackers, etc. then the price for something that will last well nigh on forever it's really not that bad when all is said and done. I mean you can get a pretty decent one for 30 bucks shipped.

I love this one, which I have: Whip-it brand dispenser

But you can also go with one at half the price and be just as well off: Mosa brand dispenser

As well as how many whippits you run through it.  Expanding gas is cold.  I've seen the valves freeze on whip cream canisters from so many being used.

Where I'm from the cheapest of the cheap MOSA brand is $50, everywhere else is $80+.

What does a frozen valve look/sound like? What does it mean?

It's when the metal valves on the dispenser freeze from the gas expansion of so much gas being pushed through in rapid succession. It'll lock the dispenser up so it can't be used. I don't know about the cheaper dispensers but you have got to be pushing a shitload of nitrous through for this to happen on the whip-it brand dispenser. I've pushed about 100 cartridges through in pretty rapid succession and didn't have any problems at all.

And sorry, maybe I'm being too US-centric with pricing since the links I posted go to the US Amazon site. Based on your SN are you in OZ?
