Damn

Why the fuck must they constantly test my nerves like this? First Manningham now Boldin? I don't want players who just got done ending our season!

Something tells me Boldin will be different. Maybe I'm just being overly hopeful though.
This year it's gonna be win the superbowl or bust for eternity

I'm not doubting he will be a great asset for us, I just can't accept it regardless. The dude just beat us in the Superbowl, my feelings are still hurt.

Any 9ers fan who isn't happy about picking Boldin for a 6th round draft pick is fucking crazy.

Wow that is a pretty sick pick up.
Who knows how well Nnamdi will play again, maybe he just hated living in the cold .
If anything, he's back in the Bay Area, maybe it'll bring back his form from Oakland. If so, look out.

He obviously plays better on the west coast.

Apparently he hasn't signed, it was just a rumor.
Yeah obviously he did really poorly in Philly. Which begs the question...how could a player who was considered as good as Revis drop off so suddenly?
The crazy thing is, Nnamdi is the ultimate example of stats not telling the whole story. Although yeah this past season it does.
But back when he was with Oakland, his stat line was never that impressive except for his one monster season before anyone knew how good he was.
After that he only got like 1 INT per game, because NOBODY would dare throw the ball in his direction.
Now obviously he's gotten burned alot. Maybe he was so used to people not throwing towards him that he lost his coverage skill :P

Why are you excited about this? From the link:
Quote:
Asomugha was an unqualified bust with the Eagles after signing as the top free agent on the market in 2011. His press-man coverage skill set was never ideally suited to the "Wide Nine" scheme prevalent in Philadelphia over the past two seasons. The 31-year-old bottomed out by allowing an eye-popping 120.6 passer rating on throws in his territory last season, according to Pro Football Focus.
The 49ers were in the market for a cornerback with size after quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco carved up their secondary in the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl XLVII, respectively. The hope is that Asomugha will bounce back from being one of the NFL's most easily burned cornerbacks in 2012 now that he's joining a defense more suited to his strengths.
There's little question that Asomugha gradually lost his confidence and make-up speed in Philadelphia. While he might regain the former on the title-contending 49ers, the latter might have evaporated for good.
The guy sucks.

He was turrible in philly. The only reason he was good in Oakland is because Oakland is so full of losers why would you target the king loser.

Coming to SF is his chance to redeem himself. He was shitty as fuck in philly no doubt and Oakland as a team was just terrible loll. In the contract Aso declined guaranteed money on his own request, so that has to say something about his character.
He knows he was bad...but hopefully him being back in the bay in SF will be different.
