Greatest Fear?

Most of my fears I have tried to get rid of by confronting them, and, eventually, realizing how silly they are. When I was younger and scared of the dark, I would look under my bed and go into my closet at night to prove to myself that nothing was there. Eventually I got over it. Some fears are easy to overcome. One fear that I have had the past few years and haven't been able to shake is the fear of ending up as a typical middle aged American living in a Suburban home in a loveless marriage, probably headed towards a divorce, driving my kids to Church in the family SUV, working way too much in a job I don't particularly like, worrying way too much about money, and being brainwashed by CNN for entertainment. Sure, I could say fuck it all and go live off on my own in a cave in the middle of nowhere, but it doesn't seem very realistic, and I don't think I'd even want to do something like that. I just know that I don't want to live the boring life that I have been taught my whole life to want. Sometimes I feel myself giving in to the money hungry and possession craving American tendencies that the entertainment industry has so caringly tried to implant in my brain, and it scares the shit out of me to see adults from the sixties that were living the free love hippie lifestyle now driving Lincoln Navigators and working in an office 45 hours a week. Why does it have to be so hard to go against the grain? If it is really worth it, then why do so many give up?

Spider's.
I temporarily got rid of my fear by eating one, but now...if its any bigger than an inch across i get my feet of the ground and look for the raid and vaccum as quick as possible. I know its completely irrational and stupid...but they scare the fuck out of me...and i must get over it.
The future is scary too.

haha, good one. I've quite a few... darkness, heights, water, but the worst of all is walking into someone in the street, stepping to the left to avoid them, and they step in the same direction to avoid you and so on and whatever you do, the stranger does the exact opposite and then you never get anywhere. NEVER EVER.

and what if you both just turn around and continue your way in the opposite direction?

I'm scared of death.

i am terribly scared of nuclear warfare, and death of the human race, mself included. i just know that the damn us and their first strike nuclear polocy is gonna end up going horribly wrong. noone can have that polocy if anyone wants to live. every rumble in the distance, every un-expected flash, i know its the bomb and i wait. a second later i realise im still alive and go about my day. one day a second later im gonna be dead. i gotta get out of this fucking doomday country
-------------------- PEACE zippoz "in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption" "People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

That is also one of my greatest fears...living the 'working life'. WTF is the point of slaving away at a job, (which is kinda like prison), just so you have enough money to pay the bills, and a little left over for your little vacation time, and then retiring at 65, so i can spend whatever little money i have saved up, and be depressed that i'm an old fuck who cant truly enjoy my 'final freedom' anyway. (which is about 10 years)
I am currently working against defeating this way of life as we speak. I dont want to be rich so i can have pretty things. I want to be rich so i can be FREE.

One fear I have when I'm about to fall alseep, and this is when my mind gets all cloudy and I start getting closed eye visuals (pre-dreaming, or whatever) I usually get this feeling that I'm being watched, this really creepy feeling that someone is outside my window looking in, and that if I turn around and look there is going to be this dead 7 year old girl in a night gown staring at me with a blank face and her mouth hanging open... (I live like 3 stories about the ground) and that I'm going to freak out and start screaming, only as hard as I try my screams don't make any sound.

you know what, I don't really have any fears anymore. Just something that happened after all that I ahve been through. Like if I would die, I just would. However, I have a TERRIBLE fear of not leading a fulfilling life. Like My worst fear would be to live to 70, look back and realize I never did anything with my life.

oh yeah, btw, AND the death of the human race, like I think that would be the most empty feeling in the entire world to be the last living human. Like, could you imagine being the ONLY person left on earth? my life would feel so futile and meaningless.

Nuclear war...that would just suck completely, fuck so much shit up.
Suffication, it would be a horrible way to die, but im not SCARED that its just gonna happen, just odnt want it to be my way of death.
Sometimes if its dark and there is a window nearby i think of people looking in and it spooks the hell out of me and i get chills even though i look and no one is, but i always expect there to be one.
Other drivers, there are some really horrible drivers that just scare me by their driving.
If you have ever rolled up in a blanket real tight to the point where you cant move really, i get this fear that i won't be able to get out so i just hate being in any situation where i cant move, or am VERY limited in space.
There is a lot of crazy shit.
