allthough a great idea, dont you think the oven tek is easy enough? how are the jars doing, compare the oven tek innoculating to the washing machine tek innoculating.

uh...well, you are right, there is not much point in having another way to innoculate if the oven tek works fine. but i never really liked the thought of innoculating right in my kitchen. it's probably the place where most contams sit. i will let you know how the two teks compare. if i get 100% uncontaminated jars with both teks and that's what seems to be the case, well, not much to compare then. i probably will go with both types in the future as well. you never know when you fuck up, and that way you kinda have a backup. i would like to hear from other people about their success-rate.
thank you, come again

Well, the oven tek seemed a little bit too simple to me too, especially in my case where the kitchen is really dirty (I've got 4 cats around, and cleaning is not my main hobby). But it's always worked real fine for me, and it's so damn easy. If you really wanna go ahead with your washing machine tek, be my guest and be the proud author of the newest sterile tek, but IMO the oven tek needs no improvement whatsoever. It's great to keep on innovating, experimenting and inventing though, that's what keeps mushroom cultivation alive and kicking. Keep up the good spirit...
