I am so jelly right now you have no idea. I haven't had any luck for weeks! I was informed of a promising location which I may scope out sometime soon. I thought the season was well and truly over, so guys how's it looking up north and far south?

No sorry those aren't active. Psilocybes are much more substantial and also turn a conspicuous blue when picked or handled.

A week ago, I walked through an area near where i live, and saw many, many hundreds of subsecotioides pins as in the photo below showing the small ones grouped together. Of the hundreds of pins most were tiny - the largest being no more than 1 centimetre across. They are a slow growing mushroom, and in the intervening time had not grown much at all, as I also went past a few days ago.
Yesterday, I went back - they have all been picked. Hundreds of immature pins. There was one I example I found a couple of weeks ago that was mature and hidden - so I noticed it was still hidden and photographed it - as below.
Imagine if all those hundreds of pins had been left - what would they be like in a couple of weeks. Shortsightedness again.

Found these today, guessing the 1st pic are subsecotioides ? not sure as it's the 1st time I have found them but they look similar to pics I have seen on this thread. The other pic a lonely Subaeruginosa.
I found the Subaeruginosa right on the water level of a pond up next to a tall grass, cleared away some of the bark and that was under here.
