Some awesome cacti porn going on around here! I'm not a grower yet, only an appreciator of these wonderful space cucumbers! An entire universe contained within these mystical desert creatures.

Thanks hah I thought it was a pregnant squirrel but I never really got a good look at its back/tail. It took off under a neighbors fence one day with at least 4 little guys scurrying behind it. I hope they made it to the hills It had a huge stash of apricot seeds underneath my shed!
@ostridge: That is an amazing squirrel companion you have there . I used to be able to feed them by hand at my grandpas house but that's a whole nother level!

quick question will a peruvian torch get sunburned if i leave it out in the sun outside all day
individual who is selling me his told me in nevada more than 6 hours causes problems due to intense sun
i live in wisconsin, trying to figure out if its a good idea to leave them outside for the summer, would go great with landscape of my backyard

If you gradually introduce them to it, they seem to take it pretty well, but like the rest of us, they can easily sunburn on those first few days out in the sun.

yeah, adding an hour a day should be good. Sometimes they'll still sunburn though. Seems to be some variance in sun tolerance.
Thanks- it's the oldest known evidence of san pedro use. It's from Chavin De Huantar in Peru from a rock carving.

I only have tiny baby (~1 month old) Pachanoi and Peruvianus right now, as well as a couple of (hopefully rooting) foot-long Pachanoi cuttings.

I don't know anything about cactus, so I have no idea what this lump is. Is it a tumor? Does my cactus have cancer? Is my cactus eligible for a medical marijuana card, allowing me to be its caretaker?

I've also left the cuttings indoors, since it rains very often here and I'm not sure where I could place the cuttings to avoid the rain.
