Really need to get my hands on some Aussie clones, need to get some to the states.

I have always wondered why this is common. only on my bridgesii. and my monstrose variety too.

No it's not common! Pest oil sprays will scar a cacti to death also water damage can do that and scale bugs.

I dont spray them. And I rarely water them. Maybe once, twice a year.

This one and my monstrose have those scars. I'm baffled. But they grow so I just let them be.
