Another new find from a local garden center- T. pachanoi monstrosa of some sort.

mine seem to germinate just fine regardless of the moon cycle. But then I do use a heat mat.

Bridgesii seedling graft on pereskiopsis. It did nothing for about 2 months. I began noticing growth 2-3weeks ago. My first successful seedling graft

It's my understanding that grafts will take more quickly and vigorously during the active growth season. That may account for why it just chilled for a while till now.

I just did my first attempt at grafting a week or 2 ago. Just did 2, and one has taken but still tiny. Can't wait to watch it grow!

Yeah, pereskiopsis are tropical so they grow year round without a dormant period like other cacti do, but they can definitely slow or stall their growth during cold months like we had here last last year and early this year.
