Did some more re arranging today and took a few more pics:

Funny shaped graft stump, I cut it like this to leave the pup on the base and get the roots coming out on the cutting.

Strange hybrid graft I tried cloning, didn't work but I got 2 other bigger grafts going.

Crested pach seedling, looking a bit red but it's getting pretty big!

Graft I am trying to root while still grafted

Seedling that has pupped twice

Clone from my pach crest

Pach f monstros x palaerensis crested seedling I grafted, the base pupped twice and is cresting again!

Clone from the above seedling with a random cool peruvian of some kind above

Random graft looking a bit interesting

Rosie x Fields hybrids I believe, going to finally transplant them all soon.

Thanks! I love how it has turned out, it looks like one giant wave or fan like formation.

I cloned it a few other times but they all reverted, need to get some more going.

I feel very lucky to have ended up with a few really cool mutants.

Can't wait to start cloning them more so I can sell trade and give some away.

Well I did it.. the first day of spring was too fitting not to. I watered all my potted homies today! They haven't had a sip since October and it was very difficult to seemingly neglect them like that. This day marks the end of my first year and the beginning of my second growing season!!

Fucking picture time!!

OH and I'm doing this right now too!

where abouts in florida are you? I also am in FL, and where as I do cut back on watering for the winter, I never truly stop watering them. I usually slow down on regular waterings in Nov and start again in March. I do stop feeding them though.

I get a couple inches of growth through winter alone where I am!

Thanks ml! U my hero!

Northeast. I'm about 30 minutes away from georgia and maybe 20 minutes from the beach. I had some growth.. skinny nearly spineless growth, but I bought those so late in the season they didn't get roots in time so I wasn't comfortable watering them.

Ah ok. Yeah your climate is still a touch different than mine. We are bit milder here.

Anywhoooooooooooooooooooo. On with the trichos!

The sun was at good picture taking angle. Growing season is underway, so everything is starting to move along again.

The group enjoying the sun. Everything that is trich in this pic is seed grown aside from the pachanois

The main stock on this one seems to have stopped growing at some point last summer. It pupped this little gnarly guy out of no where... And then I cut its head off

Hi Telecat. Yeah looks like you have a little bit of etoliation going on there. How long have they been in those containers for and did you plant them as cuttings?

They can fill in somewhat if they have enough sunlight and water as they grow. But they will probably always be a little skinnier there where you're seeing that stretching now.

I'm not trying to be a Mr. Smarty pants here, because I was making the same mistake not long ago.
But the word is "Etiolated", not "Etoliated". Not a big deal, of course..but I thought you guys would wanna know.

Has anyone heard of or tried injecting cacti with epinephrine (or dopamine or tyrosine etc) to help the cactus produce more alkaloids?

What's wrong with this pup? Is it rot? I haven't watered this cactus yet, but I mist the area around it twice a week or so. Should I be worried? I moved it from its shelf for pictures, could it be a burn from too much light?
It's normal spot is beside its friend. There is 2 exo terra full spectrum lights about a foot and a half above them.
