And fourth pup emerging from my Peruvian Torch. I'm glad to see all the pups, but I feel like they will drain some of my trich's energy and slow the process of getting the base to thicken up.... Thoughts?
I would be tempted to take the top 10" and make it a new plant. Take another 4" piece and see if it could be rooted, eventually becoming a graft host. The original should have about 2" left above the pups. I'd see if losing the upper growth would encourage the pups to grow faster. Turn the thing into a tree and get another healthy plant with a nice barrel to support it from the tip you cut.

That's not a bad idea at all KeninVic. I've always wanted to turn it into a mother plant but was never expecting this much activity from it all at once. I gonna give it a little while longer to see what it decides to do but your suggestion makes a lot of sense and I just might end up doing that.

Ive had my Matucana Trichocereus Peruvianus cutting in soil for a little longer than a week now. Hopefully it begins rooting fast and strong. I absolutely love it.

Some choice photos I took earlier:
Some of my favorite seedlings that I sowed
Look at the roots on this thing! I don't think they were there a few days ago... I may let them go and see if they make it to the soil!
That would be crazy...
2 small crested pachanoi seedling clones I am going to trade and or sell.
This graft is taking its time can't wait to see what it ends up doing though...
Bonus Rifat kratom tree, that leaf just unfurled and its as big as my hand!
Happy fall everyone, just finally ordered some bulbs to get my light set up.

Looked very old and huge,
I'm not too sure where exactly I came across it

it would help if you posted the pic, or told us where you saw it.

LEE? It's just a T. bridgesii of unknown genetics. I'm calling the plant "Roky".

So, I started germinating more trich seeds the other day. I counted 2 dozen already starting to sprout
This time, there isn't a lab pup around that is still chewing everything it gets its mouth on. My last venture, the dog ate about two-thirds of the seedlings and the others were placed in direct sunlight all day while still wrapped in plastic. I've learned from past mistakes..... These should grow well. I'll post up a few pics this coming weekend when I get the time.
I also have one trich throwing a pup with long spines already. Is 1cm wide too early to remove from the momma and put into a pot?
