It will greatly accelerate the growth of the seedlings, had to save them anyways.

Will old age bloom 5-10-5 work well as a general fert for bridge? Should it be diluted? Used only a couple times over the summer? Plant is in full full sun. Just repotted.

High P levels can encourage fungal problems. Too much N can cause thin off color growth. I've found that trichocereus like lower N and P, and higher K and Ca and micronutrients. So I would use that as more of a P boost for cactus if I had that, and probably a little more diluted than for cannabis or tomatoes. You can feed/water trichs a lot when they are actively growing. I feed about every other water.

Hmm, seems like the Jones Juice Fertilizer is working a bit too well. Pups galore. Never had any until now. Not to say I have been growing for long

So what do I do about this? In the first pic I have 3 pups on the smaller cactus to the right. I would like to cut 2/3. How do I ensure that the cactus does not get infected when they are so close to the dirt / water might kick up the dirt into the wound?
Also want to cut the one on the second pic, as I dont think it is ready for a pup. Its just a 16 inch bridgesii
Thanks

Personally I would let them ride. If it’s already pupping than I say it’s ready to pup. I don’t think size of the mother means to much. I mean, check this pup on my short, skinny bridgesii. Both the pup and the mother a doing just fine.

Wait a few months and let them get some volume of their own before you cut them. They will root faster/stronger that way.
As far as your concern over the wound staying clean.. Simple. Just don’t water it while the callous is forming and no dirt/water will splash up. Keep it somewhere with decent airflow and you’ll be good.
-that’s just my 2 cents. Whatever you do though just keep us posted 😁

Okay. Sounds good. I will let it ride. An easier option in the end, as I am having someone else take care of them at the moment
Thanks

A cool moth on Los Gentiles.

The blue on that one!

It's a Pichu ####... I forgot the exact numbers unfortunately. I got this one from an ebay seller who said this was his favorite cut from a seed run of SS pichu seeds years back. It's the bluest in my collection by a good bit, it just glows.

These old clone collars work great for keeping these pups from stabbing each other.

I’m really happy with the growth on this overall, though it’s been narrower since moving to the present location. I just moved it to a slightly sunnier spot.
This is an eBay noid and while I obviously am confident in the genus, I don’t know anything about identifying the species.
What do I need in a pic to help more knowledgeable folks make an educated guess? Close up of areoles/spines or something? I know an exact id may not be possible especially if it’s a hybrid or something, but guess I’m curious if there is likely to be potential beyond ornamentation since it’s going to be my first cactus to reach a size where that info can be helpful 😉
