edit (4/8): I see the cactus jones recommends every 2nd watering for his juice. Wish I knew the recipe so I could make my own
It's definitely a cool thing to get if you want to help the guy out. I remember him saying he could no longer keep making it organic, which is a bummer but there are so many options out there as far as organic fertilizers if you start digging into what some people feed their cactuses. Apparently foliar feed works very well, I've been spraying my plants with some after learning about it.

His site still states it is 100% Organic. I dont see any info otherwise. It is always possible he forgot to update that page.
Id be interested in researching fertilizer in the future, but I am very limited in my mental space and time at the moment, so I would rather go for something that an expert recommends and is easy, and then just forget about it.
On another note, just got these for free, which I appreciate. Trying to understand what I should do with the one in the pot. It seems that it was lying on the ground, as it has roots coming out of its side and has curved growth. I guess my main concern is that when I root it upright it will eventually break when the growth proceeds straight up again. Maybe I can angle it in a new pot so this doesnt happen. Idk. The other cutting is straight forward

roots (not the best pic):

Also, I used to think this was PC, but idk why I thought that as it is very blue. Any ideas as to what it is? Makes me sad whenever I see how etiolated it is...

Mmmmmmmm I love melty plants. Got some good looking things in the works there. What melter is that btw? Just got in a little piece of E Street yesterday, a sometimes variegated and melty bridge. I don't know why I want all the mutant bridges, there are so many lol
Bruce's dragon graft is finally pupping, I'll get a pic of that too.

The newer etiolated part gives my Torres y Torres vibes, similar looking notches and spines, but idk if I've seen one that glaucous, but then again even some of my PC inside is little bit glaucous, I'll try and get a pic of that too.
Edit: Nvm, I was comparing it to a mislabeled TPM
@Mike Funkoid.. interesting.. You might get a DM about it lol

Maybe you could repot it with a stake and tie it to it, or you could repot it, cut part of that main column and have the stand turn into a pup machine, and root the column you cut log style or something. Looks pretty stressed too, maybe you could boof it.

I was just thinking about the pup machine thing.
Have you seen cactus jones-s inverted pyramid? How does one get that to happen?

It would be similar to how you would get a marijuana plant to branch out a lot. With a little training, you cut it and then you would give it extra nutrients that would make it want to make more pups. You would want to use something like seaweed or kelp.

You get that to happen by taking a cutting and forcing it to grow multiple pups, and then after growing out a bit you cut all the pups at the same level and then the pup stumps will eventually pup. You can control where the pupping happens with some hormones that can be applied to areoles. I have some pupping cream and it works very well, just rub it into an areole and give it a prick with a spine or needle, or razor. Takes a few weeks but I have pups galore now, and exactly where I wanted them. Some people swear by coconut water.

Coconut water ay? Interesting. I’m assuming if it does work then the stuff straight out of the coconut would be the way, as opposed to something like vita coco or another brand of made to drink coconut water.

Yeah that's the route I would go, I have no idea what might get put in the other stuff, definitely don't want the added sugar. It is said that hormones in the coconut triggers it. I personally haven't tried it though.

What cream do you use?
Would be nice to get that blue etiolated san pedro to pup so that I can have a column of it that is not etiolated.
One question i have is: if etiolation never really resolves, then how do cacti get really big stumps? Are all of my bridgesiis always gonna be about the same width they were planted at?

Could I dilute this and use it on san pedro? This stuff is the kind that comes with a sprayer to hook up to a hose and use it at the same time.

Yes. Depending on how often you fertilize you want to use 1/2 to 1/8 strength.

Set's pupping cream, a product available on Etsy. Etiolation never resolves as in the skinny part will never really grow to be thicker, but all of the new growth can become thicker with enough feed and light. If you up the amount of light and nutrients, they will grow fatter, but generally bridges are skinnier.

Totally, I don't see why not. I'll post some pics here of what I use.
Edit:

I’d say cut it a bunch at first to see how it goes, those NPKs be high.
