This is “T.peruvianus monstrose x T. Scopulicola” of all the trichs I’ve grown from seed so far...this guy is firmly my favorite. It’s grafted because it was growing at 1/10th the rate of all the other seedlings of the batch...slow as hell! But, I’m pleased with how the last year has treated it, and am excited to see how it looks this time next year.

Looks good Tr4sh. Good catch on those name brand trichos. T.peruvianus monstrose x T. Scopulicola is nice as well.
Kinda rare bridgesii monstrose called D. It's a nice addition to my TBM collection.
I need to start expanding my seed grown TBM. No one has it except me. Teehee.

Ran off for a few days but I finally crawled over here again. Progress update on some of my grafts, de-grafts, and other babies. Got some new grafts (various) started for the next year. I'm out of dirt and pots so the seedlings in their trays are stuck there until further notice. People are finally buying plants again after about a month so I just might be able to afford something for the family for Christmas. I need to get more dirt ASAP and continue grafting through the winter so they are ready for the spring.
My nicest Pachanoi fell over. It was leaning one day and I should have staked it up rather than just rotating the pot because the next day or so It completely fell over despite being in a 15 gallon pot. It's a thick cactus and simply got too heavy for it's own good. The top pup was still attached by the core, the break was also fresh as well and I probably could have stood it back up with stakes and it would have been fine but I opt to cut it off. A smaller pot gouged a piece off the top. Now it's in the Trichocereus garden which is in the new greenhouse. The trunk has another pup coming from the base which will take off now but I really wanted to get this one big enough to pollinate. Maybe one of my PCs will flower with the Bridgesii X Santanesis
I had to open all of my greenhouses again, it's still 80F+ in the south and I lost one of my nicest, several year old Mammillarias to rot. It didn't look like it was rotting but the core was screwed for over half the plant. My first seed grown ones are starting to flower now, likewise the mothers are on their second bloom, except the one that rotted. Lost two large chucks of Myrtillo to rot. One was potted, the other was in-ground, hopefully I won't lose anymore of those since I want them to become new mothers.

Terschekii, bridgesii and scop.
So how big do you want these guys to get before transplanting to a new container and should I worry about the ones that aren’t standing up and are laying sideways with there roots out

Them be some nice seedlings & nice mix.
I would let them get between 1-3 inches in height before transplanting into small pots. In some instances / emergencies I have transplanted smaller, but growth rate will suffer for it to an extent. It's not too bad once they look like tiny cactus and have thorns but the bigger the better.
Biggest risk is making sure nothing gets inside and eats them, like a filthy caterpillar. Just one will cut down the entire tray, no matter how big they grow inside.

D wolf and Tr4sh, I can sense your passion for tricho. I love it. Well done. I'm happy to see both of you investing time, energy, and love as I have. Keep up the good work. I want to see some dank looking tricho come into existence that isn't grown by me.
Thanks turtle_hermit. I'm hoping it'll grow into a masterpiece.

I’m wondering if the ones that aren’t standing up already will stand up on there own or should I help them eventually or just leave them the hell alone probably I’ll just do that

They will be fine. Tiny seedlings will put down roots and grow upright. This is why I make little tiny holes and drop a seed or three in; not only does it keep the seedling more moist, but it will eventually fill in and the seed will right itself.
shroominmyroom, check around the Trichos, all kinds of cactus and succulents growing.

3 year old Trichocereus grown from seed
Summer 2020
Autumn 2020 (~6 months later)
Can harsh weather conditions make the spines bigger? It was ther first year with all day, full and direct sun coverage inside a greenhouse. The humidity range was extreme, from a desert, to a tropical garden during monsoon and so was the temperature.
