When did OP say he was driving? Unless I'm mistaken he said he was just walking in his neighborhood with a 30 pack. 
So unless I'm wrong you just got an underage drinking, there is no way they would ever issue a warrant for your arrest for a misdemeanor unless you missed your court date but you just got caught..
I got an underage drinking one time and I didn't even have to go to court over it. They sent me a ticket in the mail and it gave me the option to plead guilty and mail it back in. They just suspended my license for 3 months.
This thread confuses me... No offense and it's not like I'm doubting your age OP but from a lot of your posts you could be mistaken for underage

Number one, he's scaring you to make sure you don't break another law in your fucking life.
You will get conditional discharge for probably 6 months. This means that as long as you don't get caught breaking any more laws in that time, then you are off the hook and it will not go on your record as a conviction. If you are in Illinois, those mother fuckers will put it on your driving record as a drinking and driving related offense and suspend your drivers license from anywhere to 3 - 6 months. (mine was 3 if I remember correctly)
My point is, don't listen to him. You are not going to jail.
The only jail time you would see is if he arrested you on the spot when he caught you, up until the time you had someone post $100 for bond.

P.S. Jail sucks; Don't go. Best you start acting the way they want you to or get damn good at acting like it and hope you don't slip up too many times in the process.
Once they have you cuffed, there's not a damn thing you can do but try to enjoy the ride and chalk it up to another life experience of what NOT to do in the future. Unless, that is, you are sociopath. Then y.... well, we all know how trying to talk to sociopaths end up and if you don't, you will, you just might not know it.

I cannot believe someone would get anything more than a fine for WALKING with alcohol. Jesus Christ, they spend so much time convincing people to NOT drive, then they slam you because you aren't shielded by the privacy of an automobile. This is exactly what I would tell a judge. Then I would probably tell them to go fuck themselves.
