Need help identifying mushroom in NW PA!
    #1796291 -

some mushrooms were found in a dense wooded area. The mushrooms vary in size from 1 inch tall to 4 inches tall. Most of the caps are convex and range from 1-2 1/2 inches in diameter. The stems are thin and are almost pure white at the very bottom and then turn a light rusty orange and gets darker farther up the stem. the gills are about a centmeter apart maybe a little closer. the caps are a darker orange color in the center and get slightly light in color towards the edge. After doinga little research my opinion is that they are either Gymnopilus Purpuratus or Aeruginosus but i'm not sure. I'm sorry i have no picture yet but i am trying to find a camera so hopefully i can post a pic in the near future. can anyone helpme identify these, if so it wouldgreatly be appreciated. Thanks
