your favorite quotes?

what are your favorite quotes? as in a short phrase or saying that expresses thoughts or ideas that you agree with, whatever.
for me, remember in the matrix, the oracle points to some latin shit that means "know thyself"? well i suppose thats one of mine- know thyself.
also, anyone ever hear that william blake quote about finding a world in a grain of sand, heaven in the middle of a flower. some shit like that. that one says a lot to me, thats how i think of drug use. it lets people see all the beauty of the world, no matter where they are. you could be staring at your carpet in your room and see more beauty in its intricacy than most people see in a lifetime. that quote shows that what you see is all about how you look- everyting is a matter of perspective..
so do any of you have any interesting/deep/funny/famous quotes that strike a chord with you
-------------------- "Listen Bush, i dont have any weapons. are you listening asshole? i dont have any fucking weapons! whats your problem, you fucking prick? Do you, like, WANT to go to war or something?! hey! whats all that laughter? whats so fucking funny?! Bush? BUSH! *click* Hello? HELLO?"

It's Bill Hicks, Tool has various stuff of his in their music. Ever listen to him? You should be able to find mp3's of him on any large file sharing network; he's dead, so I don't think he'd mind

"It is as it should be". -off some X-Box game my friend's were playing, we love to say it
"Kissass!" - Phil, off of Drowning Mona, it is all in the way he says it, also "I'll mow your lawn, I'll trim your hedges, and I'll kiss your ass! Aha hehe haa!" also by Phil, mocking Bobby. Drowning Mona, definitely Top 10 movie of all time.
"Where's your Le Baron, Freddy? I don't see two Le Baron's, Freddy. It is because they love me more, Freddy. I'm the #1 son! I'm the #1 son!" - George off of Freddy Got Fingered, to which Freddy replies "What about me, Mom", and she says "You can be the #1 son, too". Freddy is like "Yeah, but he gets a Le Baron?!.... also one of the funniest movies of all time.

Definitely, and it is one of the greatest truths in the world... our experiences being completely unique, never before experienced and never again replicated, by ourselves or anyone else....
Kind of makes me feel that my time here is sort of special, that maybe I should be using my time to go for what I want to go for. Peace.

Wow there's probably a million quotes I like.. but I can't think of them all so I'm just going to use a couple Bruce Lee quotes...because he is my hero and was one of the coolest guys ever to incarnate on Earth.
Truth has no path. Truth is living and, therefore, changing. Awareness is without choice, without demand, without anxiety; in that state of mind, there is perception. To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person. Awareness has no frontier; it is giving of your whole being, without exclusion.
If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Moving, be like water. Still, be like a mirror. Respond like an echo.
Give up thinking as though not giving it up. Observe techniques as though not observing.
Eliminate "not clear" thinking and function from your root.
Voidness is that which stands right in the middle between this and that. The void is all-inclusive, having no opposite - there is nothing which it excludes or opposes. It is living void, because all forms come out of it and whoever realizes the void is filled with life and power and the love of all being.
Nothingness cannot be defined; the softest thing cannot be snapped.
To see a thing uncolored by one's own personal preferences and desires is to see it in its own pristine simplicity
Wisdom does not consist of trying to wrest the good from the evil but in learning to "ride" them as a cork adapts itself to the crests and troughs of the waves.
An assertion is Zen only when it is itself an act and does not refer to anything that is asserted in it.
Do not run away; let go. Do not seek, for it will come when least expected.
All vague notions must fall before a pupil can call himself a master.
After all, all knowledge simply means self-knowledge.
And I like this thread so I think I will sticky it for a few days.

My signature sez it all... "Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go..." T.S. Eliot
well...I guess *technically* it's not my absolute favorite quote, but I somehow doubt anyone would understand what my true favorite quote is all about, seeing as it's something that sorta came to me during my first shroom trip and kinda has some hidden meanings for me (which is: "all there is is shroom" in case you were wondering)
