I am going to let this one slide, but you can't keep on serving up home run balls and not expect someone to take your ass downtown. You feel in' me bro'?

No...
You saying I'm hitting home runs cause I'm awesome, and yet I'm still gonna strike out by some pitcher? Sounds like everyday life to me.

This info brings to mind the movie "Groundhog Day", as well as Borje's short story "The Garden of the Forking Paths".
A force like Karma determines which of the many possible universes we will move into in the next instant.
A concept of "Time" needs more to be more fully integrated into this speculation, which leads to the biggest issue of them all, the nature of "self".

Infinite realities, infinite universes according to MWT
Many dimensions/universes according to string theory.
And relative reference frames according to Einstein (we each create our own universe)
And no absolute certainty about anything we measure in this world, according to QM. (once you measure/look at something , YOU created it)
Everything is a simulation, many people have realized it, and many will in the future Everything we see is a simulation of the mind. There is no reality, reality is self-created We see with our consciousness as one said Change your consciousness(operating system), and you see the world differently, you see stuff others don't see. (happens with mental illness and psychosis too etc.)
Dreams and lucid dreams are as real as this reality the only difference is that you cannot wake up in this reality or can you? (egodeath?)
After egodeath, there is nothing to argue against everyone is you (and you see the world like it really is, beautiful, and something we must protect).
People who have realized there is no reality: einstein (Reality is a persistent illusion) terence mckenna (There is no reality) etc.
Once you see there is no reality, no death and that we are all one, you are hooked up to the connected consciousness/awakened.
(or unplugged in matrix terminology, there is no 'you' anymore, there is only 'we')
Peace
