Worldlink TV

http://www.worldlinktv.org/

Does anybody else here get this station. it's 375 on Directv, 9410 on Dish Network.

I would have thought it to be the "libbie" equivalent to what TBN is to Christians, but apparently nobody else here except for Buzzdoctor and I ever watch it.

Thanks for the link, I've been struggling to find video feeds that don't use realplayer. I'll check this out.

The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame".

In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience.

And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him.

"Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

I have DirectTV, but haven't checked it out yet.  I'll go do so tonight.  Thanks

Wow. I've watched a bit of this over the last 2 nights. There is some GREAT stuff on here - kind of like National Geographic TV on a shoestring budget. Which actually makes for some very interesting, engaging, and original programming.

I recommend y'all check it out a bit.

I've seen some great programming on there. Seemed to be pretty pro-palestinian and arab. It was definitely good to see the other point of view after watching the swill on all the US news networks. I won't be living in the dorms anymore, which means good-bye to Worldlink and HBO :frown: Oh well, I need the breathing room after a year and a half in there anyway.

Also, dont forget to check out FSTV on dish network 9415. Admitted, it is a hella ghetto station, its geared a bit younger then worldlink but it has adbusters commercials and since poor old adbusters cant get advertising on any other station, its worth a look. They air Democracy Now with Amy Goodman and she rocks the establishment like no other journalist.

Also, if you ever see Chat the Planet on world link, check it out. The iraq ones are the most telling.

I just saw an ad for Chat the Planet - looks like a very interesting show. Never heard of FSTV - doesn't seem to be on Direct TV.
