Can tyvek be pressure cooked and re-used?

Are all types of tyvek paper effective filters?

cheers guys

New Tyvek question [Re: OJK]
    #1812680 - 08/14/03 09:07 AM (14 years, 9 months ago)

I have just one more tyvek question:

I have two tyvek sources, one is a large tyvek envelope, and another is a large piece of tyvek flow hood. My question stems from the fact that one peice of tyvek is soft, and it's really easy to suck air through, but the other is much more paper-like, and it's almost impossible to suck air through... which is better to use as an air filter, and can either be used?

cheers guys

I've found that the soft envelope-type tyvek works best. The tough tyvek used in construction doesn't allow enough gas exchange.
