an explosion of mushrooms on my lawn.
    #1788525 - 08/07/03 03:04 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

this morning i returned from work to find a whole shitload of mushrooms growing on a freshly soded part of my lawn.
among them were a whole shit load of coprinus, some other common ones, and some that looked just like pan sub's. i printed them and the print was black. however i dont think that subs grow from lawns around here, at least what i have seen.
is it possible that these are pan foes? do they grow in the midwest?

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

Panaeolus foenisecii grows pretty much everywhere in the US in lawns. It's one of the more common mushrooms in Colorado.

Happy mushrooming!
