I get terrible migraines when there are low pressure systems moving through pretty much 100% of the time - that's the only trigger I am absolutely certain of, but it's a weekly thing, and I've been getting really horrible ones(loss of vision, partial paralysis/weakness, vomiting) more frequently. I flew down to Florida when Hurricane Irene hit, and from the(very bumpy) flight down and for four days after I had horrible migraines. I can't even imagine what it would've been like being back home - that pressure system was monstrous. I have been on a few different medications for migraines over the years, and recently I'm back on topamax/topiramate - which I'm on now. Anyone ever been on it before?? The side effects are terrible for me! I'm thinking about tapering my dose and going off it - gonna head back to the neurologist soon and talk about different options. I've been on the nasal spray form of immitrex and it worked as long as I caught it early, but I always got a weird aftertaste that made me nauseous.
I guess mixing mushrooms and migraine meds are a bad idea, yeah?

I've heard that you can trip on large doses of cluster headache medication. Not that I'd recommend this.

The meds and the shrooms have the same root chemistry in some cases, I do believe, but don't take my word as gospel. I tried Topomax and it was great to lose weight on, but it didn't do anything for me on migraines. I haven't tried the Imitrex nasal. The pills were just too expensive for the number of times I would have to use them. I hope you can get relief.

II believe they are Ergot derivatives, as is LSD.

I feel like I'd sooner induce a seizure trying to trip on my meds. You've got to slowly increase the dosage and taper when you want to go off of it because of reports of seizures. Then again, the cluster headache meds I'm on are anti-seizure meds and I'm not really sure about what other kinds are out there. One thing that is a very very real issue with migraine meds is brain fog.
Holy shit, brain fog. It ruins my whole day sometimes.
And yeah, Topamax altered the taste of food for me completely. Kind of weird. I've also unwisely gone cold turkey off of it unintentionally when I forgot to bring it on a trip I took and got some real weird 'brain zaps'. Apparently that's a pretty common withdrawal side effect, though.

Had brain zaps when I took Buspar. And when I stopped taking Paxil. I hated them. They seemed to be tied to how quickly I moved my eyes.
Yeah, they are well documented now, but it took a LNG time. I think doctors were dismissing "silly" complaints like that far too long.

I didn't like Buspar or Paxil either.

Paxil fucked my shit. I took it because my doctor said it would be best for panic attack. Didn't realize he mean causing them. I stopped taking them after only a week, and I still had withdrawal.

on clusterbusters.com there has been some chatter about it, mostly about clusters and some have gotten lasting relief and some catch rebounds after it wears off. hit or miss from what i have read. citizen science comes in on this one. everyone reacts different. what works for clusters for the most part has some effect on migraine and what helps migraine sometimes helps clusters
whats interesting is that imitrex/sumatriptan appears to be derived DMT, very similar in molecular structure, along with psilo lsa and lsd
definitely worth a try if all else fails in your sleeve of tricks
imitrex/sumatriptan is one of if not the best prescribed meds for migraine and or cluster
sorry for all the cluster reference but i my self suffer from them so i have a little experience with these drugs and know how they effect the attacks many migraine sufferers seek clusterbusters for help, might be worth a message board joining OP, lots of help over there from people just like you
dmt
 imitrex/sumatriptan

I think this is the structure of sumatriptan:

i wonder if the 4-aco-dmt RCs that are out there would have a similar effect as mush for migraine and cluster headache treatment they are active in the mg range and so with an appropriate scale you could easily self medicate
just brainstorming here

I have heard some positive reports with some of the 2c-i chem, but that was only experimented with when the lsd lsa and psilo wasnt doing the trick, it was also a stubborn chronic cluster case http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1303245652
you would have to sign up, theres a whole discussion about 100 posts long, and packed full of info
i would imagine just about any serotonin antagonist may have a direct effect, personally i even had some luck with benadryl for a few days, and that just inhibits the re-uptake of serotonin, tolerance and short lasting effects become an issue and make it impractical
risk and reward id suggest staying in the lsa lsd and psilo realm, theyh have been documented for a long time and are the most safe and practical

is the same as
If you don't label a line segment, it is a carbon with the appropriate number of hydrogen. When a unlabelled line is at the end of a chain, it is the same as a line labelled —CH3.

Thanks for the heads up, I just see pictures when I look at that stuff. Just another thing I might have learned in school if it wasnt for dropping out because of clusters.
