Its getting cooler people :laugh:

the heat wave is over. Overcast skies are starting to take over a little bit every day.. I can almost smell the shrooms! Hang in there!

It'll be a while yet, but i'm glad at the least for the decrease in temps.

you kind of reminded me of that bit from the return of the king:

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.

I miss mushroom hunting... but, man, I love the warm summer days and the beautiful girls laying out on the beach. :laugh:

I think we might have to wait a bit longer into the summer, here around the Puget Sound, until we can get excited, especially for the NW Holy Grail: the psilocybe cyanescens. It's the best I've ever tried. I believe it likes cooler weather. Good thing, because, man, we really need amazing trips when the rainy season starts, not to mention winter. Hey, I think I just figured out why I've always loved cool weather! Any tips on preserving my finds? Short-term and long-term? Are there any types that are available during the summer?

But am too waiting for it to get cooler in hopes I can go hunting in Northern California.
