 When im dunking/cold shocking do i need to........?

When i dunk and cold shock my cakes/casing im going to put the cakes in the same size jar and fill it up with water put the lid and ring on and put in the cold area for 24 hours first off how does this sound? and do i need to add h202 to the water when dunking a cake/casing?

add h202 if you're not using sterile water. Other than that it sounds good and dunking in individual jars helps from spreading contams.

^He's right. Plus this guy I know, since his fridge is pretty suspect, wraps his jars in a plastic bag...just as an anal-retentive in case.

nope...straight from a brand new sealed for your protection bottle...wouldn't hurt to add h2o2 though just to be safe...

Yeah, just not too much I guess...there's a bleach dunk tek around that was something like .1% bleach. Right?

How do you dunk a casing?
for a example the casing is bottom lair of verm middle lair of substrate and top lair of 50/50 verm/peatmoss lair it will be in a thin tin pan
Do i need to replace the verm or verm/moss lair's????
